We’re seeking a results driven Technical Service & Development Engineer to lead technical service and application development across EMEA, with a strong focus on customer impact and innovation.
**Your Role: Driving Customer Success Through Innovation and Advanced Technical Support**
* Partner with Sales & Marketing to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
* Lead complex development projects in Aerospace, EV, and other fast-growing sectors.
* Translate customer challenges into actionable development programs with measurable business outcomes.
* Provide expert consultation on material selection, part design, and performance optimization/validation.
* Develop prototype parts, define test plans, and analyze results in collaboration with lab teams to validate performance and accelerate customer adoption.
* Serve as the focal technical contact for direct accounts and distributors across EMEA.
* Resolve complex technical issues in partnership with global manufacturing and quality teams.
* Develop and deliver advanced training for customers and internal teams.
* Create technical content, case studies, and competitive benchmarking.
* Represent DuPont at key industry events, developing and presenting technical papers, engaging with thought leaders.
**What You Bring**
* Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in polymer applications, with a strong customer-facing track record
* Deep knowledge in Aerospace and/or Transportation industries.
* Experience with polymers and CAD (FEA is a plus).
* Fluent in English; French and other European languages are a plus.
* Strong communicator with a consultative mindset and hands-on problem-solving approach.
* Willingness to travel (30-40%)
