Team Leader, Chemistry (Induced Proximity)(m/w/x)

In this role, you will lead a team in applying innovative molecular glue design to overcome drug discovery challenges, leveraging AI/ML models while collaborating with experts across various disciplines. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include mentoring team members, preparing scientific proposals, and representing the organization in external partnerships.

Anforderungen

• •PhD in Chemistry, related technical field, or equivalent industrial experience
• •5+ years’ professional experience in a Chemistry role, biotech or pharma setting, or Post Doc position
• •Practical experience in design and synthesis of chemical inducers of proximity/molecular glues
• •Broad knowledge of current chemical biology techniques
• •Experience of leading a high-performing team, mentoring and empowering people
• •Experience of coding in Python, or willingness to learn in-role
• •Genuine passion and enthusiasm for applying AI/ML to drug design
• •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a collaborative team
• •Track record of creative problem solving, strong growth mindset, adaptability
• •Experience working with or managing activities at contract research organisations (CROs)
• •Experience of contributing to structure-based drug design (SBDD) problems
• •Experience of applying ML methods to Drug Discovery problems
• •Track record of authorship of relevant scientific manuscripts
