**Key Responsibilities:**
* Evaluation of the technical requirements of new and existing products.
* Apply knowledge of qualified sources and products to recommend materials to the design department that would result in savings, shorter lead times, system improvements, longer lifespan, and/or risk mitigation.
* Working with product development teams and suppliers to ensure that professional and manufacturable design is taken into account when developing new products (NPI / DfX).
* Implementation of supplier visits, product audits and acceptances at home and abroad
* Continuous participation in supplier selection processes to develop a supplier base that offers competitive advantages in terms of quality, cost, delivery reliability and technology
* Conducting system audits of suppliers to assess capabilities and performance, as well as initiating and tracking continuous improvements
* Conducting technical audits of suppliers with an assessment of capabilities and capabilities, as well as initiating and tracking continuous improvements of the supplier
