As an R&D Process Scientist, you will collaborate with a global team to transform innovative concepts into scalable processes. This role involves conducting experiments and optimizing production methods while remaining at the forefront of technological advancements.

Requirements

  • PhD in Chemical or Process Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics, or Master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of powder handling solutions, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, high-temperature processes, and CAE simulation tools
  • Hands-on experience in R&D or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with process flow diagrams (PFD/P&ID) and analytical techniques (BET, SEM, XRF)
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus
  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving attitude, and curiosity for innovation

Tasks

  • Design and conduct lab-scale experiments for graphite process optimization
  • Conduct pilot-scale experiments for carbon process optimization
  • Scale up R&D results into efficient industrial processes
  • Model and simulate process behavior using Computer-Aided Engineering software
  • Manage projects to support production teams with process optimization
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive innovation
  • Ensure process safety in all operations
  • Identify new technological trends and emerging processes
  • Engage with universities and institutes to foster innovation
  • Attend technical conferences and exhibitions
