Quality Manager(m/w/x)
Driving product quality for ultra-high-performance quartz and ceramic products, spanning raw materials to manufacturing. 8+ years in Quality Management with ISO9001 management experience required. In a specialized advanced materials production setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Material Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Management role
- Management experience for ISO9001
- Ability to lead and influence project teams
- Good communication skills for effective communication with all levels
- Fluency in spoken and written English for effective communication
- Advanced degree in related field or MBA
- Established working knowledge of industrial statistics
- Advanced knowledge of SAP functionality, working knowledge of SAP QM
- Experience in chemical industry
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during audits or inspections
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs
Tasks
- Coordinate customer satisfaction related to product quality
- Drive product quality through manufacturing improvement programs
- Maintain Quality Assurance procedures for raw materials approval
- Implement corrective action processes for quality system findings
- Plan and perform internal quality audits for QMS effectiveness
- Create and review Process Interaction Maps and Control Plans
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Quality Standards and Procedures
- Leverage data analysis to identify proactive quality improvements
- Establish and maintain quality systems for AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance
- Conduct supplier audits to verify QMS effectiveness
- Set strategic direction for the Quality Department
- Participate in the Site Leadership Team for unbiased feedback
- Evaluate Key Performance Indicators for continuous improvement
- Lead site continuous improvement and culture shaping programs
- Ensure accurate recording of QA/QC related information
- Interface with customers and suppliers on specifications
- Promote risk-based analysis to reduce identified risks
- Collaborate with EHS on the Management of Change process
