## Job Description **About the Position:** As Head of Portfolio & Analytics for PartnerRe Capital Management (PCM), you will lead reinsurance portfolio analytics and structuring—developing financial models, producing internal and external portfolio reporting, and supporting investor communications. Capital Management is focused on enhancing our platform to deliver aligned insurance-linked investment solutions for institutional investors, leveraging PartnerRe’s deep underwriting expertise and strong market relationships. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of this evolving capability while strengthening our connections with insurance clients and brokers. **Key Responsibilities:** * Create and maintain financial models for reinsurance investment portfolios * Develop technical data and insights for investor reporting, collaborating across departments * Work with the Administrator, Valuation Services Provider and wider PartnerRe stakeholders to prepare models and data for portfolio valuation * Work with Finance & Operations and wider PartnerRe inputs, to build tools and automate processes for generating reliable, regular portfolio insights * Prepare materials and participate in investor pitches, presentations, and due diligence * Support capital strategy and planning through analytics and data preparation with Head of PCM * Manage and mentor junior Portfolio Analysts ## Qualifications **Technical Skills:** * 10+ years in property catastrophe reinsurance; experience in long-tail lines is a plus * Experience with ceded reinsurance and/or Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) preferred * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Demonstrated high proficiency in coding language(s) with demonstratable implementation of tools/systems. * Familiarity with RMS and AIR software and data architecture preferred **Soft Skills:** * Highly organized and detail-oriented * Able to manage large, complex data under tight deadlines * Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders * Proven leadership and team mentorship capabilities * Demonstrates initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement **Work Experience:** * Minimum 10 years’ experience in reinsurance analytics, ideally within property catastrophe and/or ILS; experience with long-tail lines of business is an asset **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in physical sciences, actuarial science, mathematics, or computer science ## Additional Information **#LI-Hybrid** PartnerRe provides a working environment in which diversity is valued, where all employees feel welcome, respected, and empowered to perform at their best.  We invite you to learn more about D&I at PartnerRe.
