Finance & Controlling Manager(m/w/x)

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years of financial and accounting experience within a corporate environment
• Proven experience in finance and controlling, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, particularly in FI/CO modules
• Ability to switch / operate on different reporting platforms
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to collaborate across departments
• High level of flexibility and adaptability to new business environments and challenges
• Leadership experience and ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively

Tasks

• Analyze production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Monitor cost centers, production variances, and profitability
• Support budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations
• Prepare regular reports on production efficiency and cost trends
• Collaborate with operations and logistics to enhance cost transparency
• Ensure data accuracy across SAP S/4HANA modules (FI/CO, MM, PP)
• Drive automation and process improvements within SAP environments
• Lead or support SAP-related projects, including system upgrades
• Act as a key user and liaison for SAP finance topics
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings per IFRS/local GAAP
• Perform reconciliations and ensure accurate cost allocations
• Prepare internal management reports and group reporting packages
• Coordinate with finance teams to ensure data consistency
• Ensure compliance with internal control standards and corporate policies
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial data
• Contribute to risk management and internal control initiatives
