## Automation Engineer ###### Permanent employee, Full-time ·Sion - Plant,Sion - Office, Sion - Lab --- ##### Your mission • Designing, implementing, maintaining and improving control systems using PLC programs, robotics, and sensor technologies. • Maintain and upgrade control systems for installation, integration, and operation. • Lead the Automation systems installation phase, testing, commissioning work and assist in start-up of systems including test plan, instrumentation configuration and set up validation, troubleshooting of electrical, and software Issues. • Understand safety procedures and Ensuring that electrical, instrument and control schemes operate within the framework of national and company safety standards. • Design and implement data communication protocols and implement best practices. • Preparation of punch list to ensure that the contractor rectifies all items before final commissioning and acceptance. ##### Your profile • BSc/BEng degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical engineering or similar fields. • 5+ years of work experience in an industrial environment, or a solid foundation in the technology sector. • Hands on experience with industrial electrical and automation especially process control instrumentation. • Experience in commissioning and start-up of plants and production lines. • Experience in ATEX instrumentation is a plus. • Work to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. • Ability to work cooperatively and supportively with a broad range of individuals with different levels of education and experience. • Be fluent in English and have an intermediate knowledge of French. • Have a Swiss working permit or be eligible to work in Switzerland. ##### Why us?
