Responsibility:
Responsible for month end closing and bookkeeping of DEUT, GESM, LDRG, BADE, BBRO and LKKG with support of an accountant for DEUT, GESM, LDRG, LKKG and one for BADE and BBRO- Responsible for correct and timely reporting and management of the master data of the fixed assets of DEUT, LDRG and GESM (Fixed Asset Accounting)- Responsible for correct and timely reporting of the monthly and yearly VAT returns and statistical reports (of German entities in Europe and European Entities in Germany)- Ensure compliance with local Tax laws (e.g. Corporate Income Tax, VAT Instrast, Lubrizol Tax reporting package…)- Carry out the financial accounting process and properly accrue expenses, revenues and reconcile B/S accounts.- Compliance with internal controls (SOX) and external and internal reporting requirements- Key contact for external and internal auditors.- Act as finance partner to sites management by providing adequate financial insights to support the objectives of local maangement.- Maintain up to date knowledge of all local statutory financial and tax regulations

* Good technical knowledge of VAT laws and other relevant tax laws as well as practical experience with filing returns and other communication with tax authorities
