Requirements

  • Full-time student in Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences, or related discipline
  • Strong interest in space technologies
  • Practical experience as mechanic, CAD technician, or laboratory technician (advantageous)
  • Professional training (apprenticeship) as mechanic or laboratory technician (advantageous)
  • Basic knowledge of CAD software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Willingness to work 100% onsite
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in dynamic research environment
  • Student status

Tasks

  • Collaborate with team members to design test equipment using CAD
  • Manufacture and assemble test benches and equipment
  • Assist with lab experiments on advanced space technologies
  • Organize and maintain the laboratory
  • Manage laboratory inventory and equipment calibration
  • Support project development for demisable joints in satellite structures
  • Contribute to coating technologies for CFRP
  • Assist with laser treatment of spacecraft parts
  • Support soldering technologies for structural space hardware
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation for projects

Education

  • Vocational certificationOR
  • Currently in higher education
