Requirements

  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business Admin, Supply Chain, Industrial Eng., or related
  • First experience or strong interest in Purchasing/Supply Chain in regulated industry
  • Interest in AI applications in business processes
  • Interest in continuous improvement, LEAN, Supply Chain, Logistics, Automation
  • Strong analytical skills and MS Excel proficiency
  • Reliable, structured, and proactive working style
  • English and German (B2+) skills, written and spoken
  • Good communication and team skills
  • Interest in purchasing processes and medical products
  • Regular student of technical college or university, matriculated
  • Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Production&Logistics, Supply Chain Management studies

Tasks

  • Assist in order processing
  • Follow up with suppliers
  • Maintain documentation
  • Support strategic sourcing
  • Evaluate suppliers
  • Analyze data
  • Contribute to process improvement
  • Use Lean tools (5S, value stream mapping)
  • Explore AI solutions for forecasting
  • Implement AI for spend analysis
  • Assess supplier risk using AI
  • Maintain procurement databases
  • Support reporting activities (KPIs, cost tracking)
  • Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, and R&D teams
  • Ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Process orders for medical components
  • Monitor delivery dates
  • Communicate with suppliers
  • Handle order confirmations
  • Resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain material and supplier master data in ERP
  • Assist with complaints and returns
  • Prepare evaluations and reports
  • Optimize operational purchasing processes
  • Consider regulatory requirements (MDR)
  • Participate in innovative supply chain activities

Education

  • Currently in higher educationOR
  • Bachelor's degree
