Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, materials science, mathematics or comparable
  • Good programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB
  • Good knowledge of finite element method, (nonlinear) continuum mechanics and underlying mathematics
  • Basic skills in FEA software packages like SIMULIA, Abaqus
  • First experiences in modeling and simulation of polymeric materials

Tasks

  • Support tesa SE in ongoing projects
  • Take responsibility for part-projects in simulation
  • Develop and improve adhesives and products through modeling and simulation
  • Adapt and extend material models and simulation methods
  • Independently document work results

  • Bachelor's degree
