Requirements

  • University enrollment in energy economics, information systems, engineering, natural sciences, or comparable discipline
  • Strong interest in energy trading and flexibility markets, ideally with first exposure to German Day-Ahead, Intraday and ancillary services markets
  • Analytical, structured working style and hands-on mindset
  • Technical affinity and experience with BI/data analysis tools; Python and/or SQL skills are a strong plus
  • Interest in working with trading operations, data flows and performance reporting
  • Team player with strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-team collaboration
  • Full working proficiency in English with clear and concise communication ability; German language skills are a plus

Tasks

  • Support onboarding of flexible assets
  • Prepare materials for asset configurations
  • Set up configurations in trading systems
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Translate operational needs into user stories
  • Setup and run analytics for trading performance
  • Monitor and improve trading performance
  • Assist with project documentation
  • Develop test cases for implementation
  • Coordinate project rollouts
  • Design short-term market access solutions
  • Improve contract documentation
  • Enhance stability of trading processes
  • Automate short-term trading operations

Education

  • Currently in higher education

Languages

  • English – Business Fluent
  • German – Basic
