RF validation and lab automation in NXP's Terahertz Lab for automotive and communication systems. Python/MATLAB and EM/system simulation experience required. Flexible hours, 30 vacation days.

Requirements

  • Student of electrical engineering, preferably RF technologies focus
  • Experience with Python or MATLAB, preferably in electrical engineering/signal processing
  • Experience with RF measurements and equipment
  • Experience with EM- and system-level simulation software, preferably Ansys HFSS and PathWave SystemVue
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills
  • Structured, well-organized, self-motivated, and flexible
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Responsible for security related tasks
  • Conscious and reliable working method for security certifications

Tasks

  • Perform and analyze RF measurements
  • Develop PHY-level simulations
  • Develop pre- and post-processing for RF measurements
  • Perform EM simulations for passive components
  • Develop system-level simulation models
  • Develop automated test routines
  • Create automated reports for measurement results
  • Develop remote control for measurement equipment
  • Contribute to NXP-wide lab automation library
  • Develop automated storage of measurement data
  • Collaborate with lab engineers to improve setups and automation

Education

  • Currently in higher education

Languages

  • English – Fluent
