Requirements

  • Enrollment in Master's program (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field)
  • Good working knowledge of SQL, query writing/adapting
  • Basic Python experience for data analysis (pandas, notebooks)
  • Analytical thinking, enjoyment of data insight discovery
  • Ideally, first exposure to BI tools (Looker, Tableau) or product analytics tools (PostHog, Amplitude)
  • Curiosity, self-driven, cross-functional teamwork comfort
  • Fluency in English, German (plus)

Tasks

  • Analyze product usage data for trends and improvements
  • Define key product metrics
  • Track activation, engagement, and retention metrics
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports
  • Analyze experiments (e.g., A/B tests)
  • Evaluate product changes from experiment results
  • Work with Product Managers on tracking concepts
  • Work with Product Managers on event definitions
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Ensure data reliability and quality

Education

  • Currently in higher education
