Working Student Mechanical Systems Engineering(m/w/x)

Description

As a Working Student in Mechanical Systems Engineering, you will engage in designing and developing aircraft mechanical systems, including flight controls and ice protection, while gaining valuable experience in a cutting-edge environment.

Requirements

• •BSc/MSc in aerospace or mechanical engineering
• •Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and motivation for detailed system definition for electric aircraft
• •Experience with CAD software, preferably CATIA or SolidWorks
• •Good programming skills, preferably Python or MATLAB
• •Strong problem-solving skills and innovative mindset for systems definition and installation
• •Knowledge of relevant certification standards (EASA CS-23 or SAE ARP4754)
• •High level of autonomy and ability to work in a team and independently
• •English language working level proficiency

Tasks

• •Collaborate with the team to define system-level requirements
• •Support system safety activities and ensure compliance with ARP4754 and ARP4761
• •Contribute to defining mechanical system architectures and interfaces
• •Perform 3D design and integration of mechanical systems in the Digital Mock-up
• •Conduct trade studies and analyses to support design decisions
• •Research and evaluate relevant technologies and suppliers for component selection
• •Interface with partners and suppliers for cross-functional collaboration
