Requirements

  • •Experience in mechanical design and development
  • •Experience in CAD software, preferably Solidworks
  • •Hands-on attitude and rapid prototyping experience
  • •Exceptional organizational skills and structured approach
  • •Problem-solving skills and proactive mindset
  • •Fluent English skills

Tasks

  • •Support mechanical structure design for satellites and payloads
  • •Develop mounting structures for subsystems and optical components
  • •Design deployment mechanisms and entire satellite structures
  • •Manage mechanical designs from concept to manufacturing orders
  • •Generate production drawings and part designs
  • •Design components for missions and ground support equipment
  • •Prototype hands-on with 3D printed and metal parts
  • •Perform first assemblies and debug mechanical designs
  • •Assist the AIT team with flight hardware integration
  • •Participate in concept and part-level design reviews
  • •Plan and assist functional and vibration test campaigns
