Requirements

  • Enrolled student in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Production/Manufacturing Engineering or related field for at least 2 more semesters
  • Interest in industrialization, lean manufacturing, and hands-on shopfloor environment
  • First experience with CAD/PLM tools (ideally CATIA / 3DEXPERIENCE) and/or 3D printing is a plus
  • Structured, reliable, eager to learn, able to work independently
  • Proficiency with M365 (especially Excel and Word)
  • First experience or strong interest in Jira and Confluence is a plus
  • Good German and English skills
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
  • Curiosity and drive to learn new tools/topics quickly
  • Hands-on attitude, proactive task completion
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, international environment
  • Genuine interest in technology and its real-world applications

Tasks

  • Analyze production flow for composites, trimming, painting, and assembly
  • Implement improvements for ergonomics, quality, and efficiency
  • Maintain and improve work instructions and production documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers on documentation
  • Support continuous improvement and shopfloor problem solving
  • Collect data and assist in root-cause analysis
  • Follow up on improvement actions
  • Create and modify 3D CAD models and drawings
  • Support tool and jig design
  • Manage data within the PLM system
  • Operate and maintain 3D printers
  • Prepare print jobs for tooling, fixtures, and prototype parts
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on 3D printers
  • Post-process 3D printed parts
  • Support task tracking in Jira
  • Manage actions in Confluence
  • Document tasks and actions in Confluence

Education

  • Currently in higher education
