Building and improving analytical dashboards for reporting and forecasting at a pan-European online insurer. Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's program required. Hybrid working.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • First practical experience or strong academic interest in data visualization and business intelligence (ideally Power BI)
  • Foundational SQL knowledge for data querying and transformation
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Power Query (plus)
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, structured work approach
  • Proactive teamwork, strong communication, comfort in international environment
  • Fluent Business English; German (plus)

Tasks

  • Develop Power BI dashboards for reporting and forecasting
  • Maintain Power BI dashboards for reporting and forecasting
  • Improve Power BI dashboards for reporting and forecasting
  • Conduct analytical deep-dives on portfolio, claims, and finance
  • Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Prepare and automate management reports and KPI tracking
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of reports
  • Prepare data with SQL and Power Query
  • Transform data with SQL and Power Query
  • Validate data with SQL and Power Query
  • Collaborate with data analysts and engineers
  • Ensure data quality for the reporting environment
  • Ensure data availability for the reporting environment
  • Translate business questions into structured analyses
  • Present findings clearly to stakeholders
  • Contribute to documenting data models
  • Contribute to documenting analytical methodologies
  • Contribute to documenting report logic
  • Participate in team meetings and sprint reviews
  • Participate in workshops
  • Contribute ideas and learnings

Education

  • Currently in higher education

Languages

  • English – Business Fluent
  • German – Basic
