Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, robotics, software engineering, or related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Solid general software engineering skills
  • Interest in applied AI, data analysis, and practical problem-solving
  • Basic understanding of machine learning, data processing, or information retrieval concepts
  • Ability to work in a structured way
  • Curiosity for messy real-world data and iterative experimentation
  • Fluency in English
  • German language skills are an asset
  • Experience with data and AI tooling (SQL, BigQuery, pandas, notebooks, log analysis, monitoring, anomaly detection, RAG, embeddings)
  • Familiarity with operational and product support environments
  • Familiarity with cloud tools or APIs (Jira, Looker)
  • Exposure to robotics, technical operations, or troubleshooting workflows

Tasks

  • Support AI-assisted tool development for analyzing robot logs, telemetry, and dashboard data
  • Prototype and improve workflows for troubleshooting support
  • Implement semantic search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and anomaly detection
  • Work with Jira tickets, logs, Looker dashboards, and BigQuery-based metrics
  • Evaluate data quality and derive actionable insights
  • Analyze results and compare approaches
  • Help turn promising prototypes into practical tools for engineering and customer-facing teams
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define experiments
  • Validate the usefulness of tools and methods
  • Drive your own tasks and sub-projects
