WMS Implementation Project Manager(m/w/x)
Managing WMS projects for smart fridge and barista coffee supply chain, mapping processes and validating vendor solutions. WMS or ERP implementation experience as Super User or Project Lead required. 16 weeks fully paid parental leave, generous childcare contribution, half-fare travelcard coverage.
Requirements
- Solid background in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations
- Experience in WMS or ERP implementation as Super User or Project Lead
- Deep understanding of warehouse constraints and system requirements
- Preference for operational environments over meetings
- Structured and methodical approach to project management
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders
- Natural sense of ownership and resilience under pressure
- Fluency in English and German
- Non-smoker
- Valid work permit or Swiss passport
Tasks
- Lead the implementation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Represent warehouse and supply chain operations throughout the WMS project lifecycle
- Map current operational processes and design future workflows in workshops
- Translate warehouse requirements into technical system specifications
- Validate solutions with external vendors
- Collaborate with warehouse shift leads, dispatchers, and the internal tech team
- Support system configuration and parameterization from a business perspective
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate end-to-end processes
- Define and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Create training materials for end-users, including shift leads and dispatchers
- Provide first-level support during the go-live and hypercare phases
- Drive change management initiatives for high adoption from warehouse teams
- Support day-to-day operations, including ordering and inventory
