Description

You will drive the transition to green energy by managing the full lifecycle of German wind projects, from initial site identification and land negotiation to securing vital grid connections.

Requirements

• •Degree in engineering, environmental sciences, or related field
• •Experience in onshore wind development in Germany
• •Understanding of German wind energy market
• •Strong project management and organizational skills
• •Proactive, autonomous, and adaptable nature
• •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• •Experience working with GIS
• •Ability to navigate German EEG auction system
• •Effective teamwork in multicultural environments
• •Native German language skills

Tasks

• •Lead onshore wind projects from prospecting to operation
• •Identify and assess suitable wind farm locations
• •Negotiate land lease agreements with landowners
• •Secure grid access with TSOs and DSOs
• •Oversee technical and environmental permitting studies
• •Identify and mitigate project risks
• •Lead community outreach and stakeholder engagement
• •Manage co-development agreements with partners
• •Maintain relationships with regional and national authorities
• •Represent the company in public consultations
• •Coordinate internal engineering and legal teams
• •Supervise external consultants across project phases
• •Monitor German market trends and competitor activity
• •Identify potential partnerships and acquisition targets
• •Prepare project budgets and business cases
• •Represent the company at industry forums and fairs
