Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or comparable field
  • Basic programming skills in Python, C, and C++
  • Good understanding of Linux operating system and IP networks
  • Interest in ground systems for satellite communication
  • Basic hardware knowledge is advantageous
  • Structured, independent work style and team spirit
  • Good English skills required; basic German skills advantageous

Tasks

  • Develop understanding of existing automation framework
  • Extend automation tests based on defined requirements
  • Document implemented test scripts in verification and validation reports
  • Contribute to further development and optimization of system tests
  • Gain knowledge of satellite modems (RF/Optical) functionality
  • Collaborate with systems engineers to define additional system test requirements
