Tasks

- Characterize aging processes at molecular, cellular, and organismic levels
- Use multidimensional phenotyping in various model organisms
- Secure external funding for research projects
- Lead and manage independent research teams
- Teach neuroscience and gerontology courses
- Supervise scientific employees
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners in science, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries
- Conduct comprehensive phenotyping of human or mouse models for aging analyses
- Engage in animal research
- Leverage data science qualifications
- Collaborate with DZNE human cohort studies
- Work closely with other research networks
- Connect with research and clinical areas of the Faculty of Medicine, University Hospital Bonn, and other University of Bonn faculties
