Requirements

  • 10 years experience in Finance or similar
  • Experience in startup or fast-growing environment
  • Experience in capital-intensive industries
  • Experience in asset financing or venture debt
  • Strong financial modeling and scenario planning
  • Experience negotiating financing structures and term sheets
  • Understanding of manufacturing cost and CapEx planning
  • Experience with public funding landscapes (plus)
  • Experience in regulated or certification-driven industries (plus)
  • Strong ownership mindset and operational execution
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments
  • Strong stakeholder communication across teams
  • Strong verbal and written English skills
  • German or another European language (plus)

Tasks

  • Lead company-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Establish scalable financial governance and KPI frameworks
  • Build finance processes for industrial manufacturing transitions
  • Partner with engineering and supply chain teams
  • Structure asset financing for equipment and production
  • Negotiate venture debt and development credit financing
  • Manage relationships with banks and financing partners
  • Support equity fundraising and financial modeling
  • Manage investor reporting and financial data rooms
  • Develop the finance function as the company scales
  • Advise executive leadership on financial strategy and risk

Work Experience

  • 10 - 15 years

Education

  • Bachelor's degreeOR
  • Master's degree

Languages

  • English – Business Fluent
  • German – Basic
