- Hands-on learning approach
- Ability to set and attain goals
- Ability to initiate actions to resolve problems and improve products/processes
- Ability to navigate matrixed organization and drive outcomes
- Proactive collaboration and clear communication skills
- Ability to manage by influence and build trust
- Great computer skills (data analysis, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, statistical tools)
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
Tasks
- Drive sustainable VES KPI improvements
- Support material and policy deployment
- Coach and train functional leaders and associates
- Enable process improvements using VES tools
- Serve as a thought partner for site leaders
- Leverage VES fundamental tools
- Deploy and sustain best practices
- Lead daily VES process implementation
- Champion problem-solving and tool application
- Guide daily management and process improvement
- Audit processes for improvement actions
- Review performance and define VES strategies
- Plan and facilitate kaizen activities
- Guide kaizen pre-work and sustainment
- Train on key VES tools
- Conduct regular kaizen reviews
- Develop VES talent and culture
- Coach associates in VES toolset and CI mindset
- Mentor associates progressing to CP status
- Mentor future VES talent in fundamentals
