Requirements

  • •Master’s degree or equivalent
  • •Three-year vocational qualification plus advanced development
  • •Good project management skills
  • •Hands-on skills for vehicle instrumentation
  • •Strong data analytics and communication skills
  • •OE automotive experience with powertrain systems
  • •OE test specifications and customer interface experience
  • •Experience with vehicle diagnostic tools and protocols
  • •Experience with machine learning and big data
  • •Fluent English and upper intermediate German
  • •Willingness to travel up to 10%
  • •Experience with batteries and related algorithms
  • •Familiar with competitor benchmarking
  • •Exposure to battery management systems in vehicles
  • •Basic scripting skills in MATLAB, Python, Excel

Education

Master's degree
OR
Vocational certification

Work Experience

approx. 1 - 4 years

Tasks

  • •Lead engineering projects for vehicle power net testing.
  • •Plan, execute, document, and present project results.
  • •Collect and analyze system data using CANalyzer and CANoe.
  • •Conduct technical market analysis for new vehicle models.
  • •Develop knowledgebase on future vehicle electrical architectures.
  • •Organize and execute vehicle benchmarking test procedures.
  • •Adapt and simulate vehicle power net systems in the lab.
  • •Acquire knowledge of new test equipment for power net testing.
  • •Develop and execute training for internal teams.
