Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- Three-year vocational qualification plus advanced development
- Good project management skills
- Hands-on skills for vehicle instrumentation
- Strong data analytics and communication skills
- OE automotive experience with powertrain systems
- OE test specifications and customer interface experience
- Experience with vehicle diagnostic tools and protocols
- Experience with machine learning and big data
- Fluent English and upper intermediate German
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- Experience with batteries and related algorithms
- Familiar with competitor benchmarking
- Exposure to battery management systems in vehicles
- Basic scripting skills in MATLAB, Python, Excel
Tasks
- Lead engineering projects for vehicle power net testing.
- Plan, execute, document, and present project results.
- Collect and analyze system data using CANalyzer and CANoe.
- Conduct technical market analysis for new vehicle models.
- Develop knowledgebase on future vehicle electrical architectures.
- Organize and execute vehicle benchmarking test procedures.
- Adapt and simulate vehicle power net systems in the lab.
- Acquire knowledge of new test equipment for power net testing.
- Develop and execute training for internal teams.
