Requirements

  • Degree in UX Design, HCI, Media Informatics, Computer Science, or comparable qualification
  • Practical experience with embedded software development workflows
  • Knowledge of development environments like Eclipse or VS Code
  • Experience designing web frontends and desktop applications
  • Several years of professional experience designing complex software interfaces
  • Profound knowledge of usability methods and prototyping
  • Experience writing user stories and conducting user tests
  • Experience in agile software development teams
  • Strong analytical skills and user empathy
  • Strong communication skills for technical requirements
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Good German and very good English

Tasks

  • Design user experiences for embedded systems development tools
  • Analyze complex software developer workflows
  • Derive intuitive operating concepts for frontends
  • Serve as the central contact for usability
  • Create requirements, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Validate implementations through user tests
  • Advocate for users throughout the development process
  • Ensure a first-class developer experience
  • Improve efficiency and satisfaction for all customers
