- FAA A&P OR FCC Elements 1 and 3 License
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P)
- Two years aviation maintenance experience
- Two years on assigned MDS (UH60)
- All experience within five most recent years
- FCC License with Elements 1 and 3
- Three years aviation maintenance experience
- Three years rotary wing aircraft experience
- Two years on assigned Mission Design Series (MDS)
- Willingness to obtain FCC License
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance, NAC-I T1 Public Trust
- Interim NACI approval required for deployment
- Valid US Passport required for deployment to Germany
- TESA Approval (German Govt)
- Five years total Aviation maintenance experience
- Good communication skills

- Ability to climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch
- Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions
- Frequently lift parts and equipment up to 20 pounds

Tasks
- Perform maintenance and inspect UH-60A/L/M systems to FAA standards
- Conduct military tactical aircraft maintenance as a UH-60 mechanic
- Repair, assemble, and modify Army and DoD cross-service aircraft systems
- Install, connect, and adjust fuel, heat, lubrication, and hydraulic systems
- Install and align engine and transmission components
- Install and align fuselage parts
- Balance, align, and install tail rotor assemblies
- Rig complete flight control systems
- Incorporate authorized modifications and changes
- Perform operational checks of hydraulic and fuel systems
- Inspect and troubleshoot aircraft malfunctions
- Disassemble, adjust, repair, realign, or replace defective components
- Use common hand tools and measuring devices
- Operate test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment
- Determine repair or replacement needs for faulty systems
- Read, apply, and interpret technical data
- Direct lower-graded mechanics in aircraft assembly and modification
- Coordinate with other trades for aircraft assembly
- Prepare aircraft maintenance forms and records
- Perform additional duties as required
- Apply knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
- Apply knowledge of Quality Control, Production, and Supply procedures
