Requirements
- Technical apprenticeship or training
- Hands-on drone assembly, tuning, repair, and flying experience
- Intimate knowledge of Q Ground Control, Ardupilot or PX4
- Diligent and structured approach to flying
- Comfortable travelling, working outdoors in all weather, operating in field
- Skilled in soldering wires and troubleshooting drones
- Precision and systematic communication and problem-solving
- Proactive, willing to improvise, strong sense of ownership
- Conversational English
- Driving license class B, BE
- Completed military training and/or understanding army processes
- Regulatory experience (EASA SORA or similar)
- Hands-on electronics, radio equipment repair or tinkering
- Experience running environmental tests (vibration, EMI, thermal)
- Familiarity with CAD and 3D printing
Tasks
- Integrate and tune new airframes and payloads
- Prepare systems for flight readiness
- Run structured tests on quadcopters, fixed-wings, and eVTOL platforms
- Execute realistic field scenarios
- Identify performance limits, failure modes, and reliability issues
- Spot bugs and design flaws
- Work with engineers to improve performance and robustness
- Demonstrate systems to partners and end users
- Train users on our test-base and in the field across Europe
