Requirements

• •Completed studies in business administration, engineering, economics, or similar fields with a focus on the energy business
• •First practical experience through internships or working student activities, ideally with intercultural experiences
• •Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
• •Experience in digitalization and usage of AI-enabled tools
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• •High level of ownership, accountability, and results orientation
• •Structured and analytical working style, combined with a collaborative, proactive mindset
• •Excellent written and spoken English, German is a plus

Tasks

• •Develop a deep understanding of Uniper’s business and its value drivers
• •Start in Energy Assets for the first six months of the trainee program
• •Rotate flexibly across the organization based on personal career development and interests
• •Design a personal placement plan with support from a mentor
• •Contribute to the trainee community and participate in training and development opportunities
• •Maximize value and optimize performance of Uniper’s power plants in the Asset Parameter Management team
• •Gain an in-depth understanding of the power business value chain
• •Optimize existing assets and integrate new green assets into the portfolio
• •Implement the digitalization strategy and apply the latest technological developments to real business challenges
