Requirements

  • Enrollment in engineering degree (electrical, mechatronics, or comparable)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, power electronics, experimental/measurement techniques
  • Solid understanding of electromagnetic field theory/electrodynamics, simulation/measurement methods
  • Good German and English skills (written/spoken)
  • Valid residence permit (for non-EU citizens)

Tasks

  • Conduct literature research on 22 kW+ automotive wireless charging.
  • Develop concepts for resonators, compensation/matching networks, and power electronics.
  • Simulate system components for 22 kW+ wireless charging applications.
  • Construct prototypes.
  • Commission prototypes.
  • Characterize prototypes.
  • Develop new suitable test methods.
  • Plan test campaigns.
  • Coordinate test campaigns.
  • Execute test campaigns.
