Technical Support Specialist(m/w/x)
Delivering solar inverter trainings in Cologne and across the DACH region. State-certified electrician experience required. International team, professional development.
Requirements
- Proven work experience in solar, hybrid inverter, battery storage or comparable industry
- B-to-B customer relationship experience with customer-oriented, practical and solution-oriented mindset
- Work experience in three-tier distribution-channel (manufacturer-distributor-installer) is a plus
- State-certified electrician in photovoltaic technology, renewable energies, or comparable disciplines
- State/certified master electrician is a plus
- Work experience as field-service specialist is a plus
- Strong technical understanding of inverter-based energy systems
- Familiar with Microsoft 365 software and Android/iOS smartphone Apps
- Understanding of network, communication and interfaces contexts
- Hands-on mentality with high ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Tasks
- Deliver trainings in Cologne, online, and in the DACH region
- Act as a product knowledge specialist for the DACH market
- Provide technical information to customers with sales representatives
- Share product roadmap and technical developments
- Provide product development feedback
- Prepare technical documentation and guidelines
- Create technical documentation, including videos
- Answer pre-sales questions via email, CRM, and phone
- Support the service team during peak periods or vacations
- Provide electrical expertise in the test and training center
- Train and test products in real installation environments
- Provide technical knowledge to distributors, installers, and EPC networks
- Offer configuration, installation, and commissioning details
- Collaborate with sales team representatives as a technical specialist
- Update technical documentation in various formats
- Participate in internal trainings
- Provide remote support using Solplanet App and pro.cloud
- Assist with after-sales cases with Pre-Sales, Solutions, and Service teams
- Provide feedback on products and market developments
- Support troubleshooting remotely and on-site
- Execute application tests in the Cologne test and training center
