Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent education in polymer processing, material science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or commercial education with proven technical knowledge
  • Work experience in polymer processing, compounding industry, thermoplastics, thermosets, polymer manufacturing, or masterbatching
  • Min. 5 years of B2B Sales or technical service experience in relevant industries in Europe
  • Fluency in English and good command of German
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented sales professional with business acumen and customer focus
  • Action and results oriented with ability to recognize and seize windows of opportunity
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Experience in an international work environment with ability to travel up to 50% throughout Europe

Tasks

  • Develop and maintain sales of Huber Advanced Materials' product solutions
  • Provide excellent technical sales support to customers and distributors
  • Initiate new business development for product applications
  • Build partnerships with European distributors to maximize sales
  • Manage distributors in the Polymers market segment
  • Create and maintain new business through relationship building
  • Drive growth of sales volume and gross margin
  • Monitor market situation, competition, and trends
  • Collaborate with Technical Support, R&D, and Marketing for product launches
  • Communicate updates on opportunities and competitor activity to the Sales team
  • Fulfill sales duties including forecasting, call reports, and account plans
