Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • •Strong technical expertise in HV/MV/LV electrical systems
  • •Understanding of electrical AC HV Plant infrastructure and equipment both AIS and GIS
  • •Proven experience in the German energy market with strong knowledge of local standards, grid codes and regulations
  • •Fluency in German and familiarity with local delivery practices
  • •Experience as a designer or project engineer
  • •Proven experience delivering complex energy projects within the German energy sector
  • •Experience designing electrical infrastructure at concept, FEED, and detailed design stages
  • •Ability to work flexibly across multiple projects
  • •Experience in technical report writing
  • •Experience with mentorship and growing team capabilities
  • •Data Centre experience is highly desirable

Bachelor's degree

Tasks

  • •Lead technical discussions with clients and internal teams
  • •Define project scopes and ensure effective delivery
  • •Collaborate with engineering teams on technical delivery
  • •Support understanding of project scope and monitor progress
  • •Quality check engineering outputs
  • •Develop specifications for substation control systems
  • •Create detailed designs for transformers, GIS, and AIS switchgear
  • •Utilize knowledge of substation project life cycles
  • •Design primary plant layouts for substations
  • •Specify equipment for HV plant and associated systems
  • •Act as Owners’ Engineer on HV substation design projects
  • •Build and maintain client relationships
  • •Understand client requirements and perspectives
  • •Demonstrate commercial awareness in proposal development
  • •Monitor and manage project costs
  • •Identify opportunities for project enhancements
  • •Support regional business growth and technical capabilities
