In this role, you will be at the heart of procurement, ensuring that materials and components are sourced effectively. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with various teams, negotiating with suppliers, and managing logistics to support production needs.

Requirements

• •Extensive technical knowledge and experience in turned and machined parts or similar areas
• •At least 3 years of experience in purchasing machined components and mechanical assemblies in aerospace, automotive, or similar industries
• •Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, sometimes of a complex nature
• •Comprehensive understanding of construction materials such as composite materials, alloys, and machined parts
• •Ability to plan and meet project deadlines
• •Strong negotiation skills and influence
• •Professional proficiency in German and English

Tasks

• •Procure direct materials and components
• •Collaborate with internal departments to clarify technical specifications
• •Process requests for quotes, requisitions, and purchase orders
• •Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships
• •Negotiate advantageous terms with external suppliers
• •Monitor delivery schedules and purchase order due dates
• •Assess and manage supplier performance and delivery risks
• •Initiate continuous improvement programs
• •Provide support to internal stakeholders in production and quality
• •Coordinate logistics with carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders
