As a technical leader, you will drive the data strategy by mentoring engineers and building the frameworks that empower teams to create their own high-impact data products.

Requirements

• •Background in data or analytics engineering
• •Experience in data platform development
• •Proficiency in SQL and Python
• •Hands-on experience in dbt
• •Modern data modeling and workflow orchestration
• •Understanding of CI/CD and data testing
• •Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS
• •Ability to architect scalable data pipelines
• •Technical leadership experience
• •Passion for mentoring and enabling others
• •Excellent stakeholder management skills
• •Confidence to advocate for upstream changes
• •Passion for vehicle/fleet operations
• •Collaboration with Data Science and Analytics
• •Track record for enabling self-serve data
• •Familiarity with BI tools or similar

• •Represent and advance company-wide technical guidelines
• •Mentor team members through coaching and pair programming
• •Foster technical excellence and professional growth opportunities
• •Define and streamline the team's technical strategy
• •Consult with product teams on data practice adoption
• •Create documentation to enable self-service data products
• •Improve data accessibility and contribution frameworks
• •Drive conceptual work during product discovery phases
• •Evolve the central dbt and SQL transformation framework
• •Conduct technical interviews and define role requirements
