Requirements

  • Engineering degree (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical) or similar
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering management or technical management in renewable energy sector
  • Engineering experience in BESS and Solar advantageous
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills across multicultural and cross-functional teams
  • Organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of international and local norms and standards
  • Hands on mentality
  • Experience in risk management
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA region
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Fluent in English; additional regional languages are a plus
  • Strategic mindset with ability to drive alignment across diverse teams and geographies

Tasks

  • Oversee engineering activities for Wind, Solar, and BESS projects in the EMEA region
  • Provide functional and organizational management for assigned engineers and leads
  • Organize regional engineering support for projects and expert tasks
  • Define priorities for technical tasks and projects
  • Engage in critical technical tasks and projects
  • Facilitate smooth communication between engineers and interfaces like PDs, PMs, TPLs, Procurement, and Construction
  • Ensure adherence to processes and standards
  • Follow up on lessons learned with project teams
  • Contribute to new developments, optimizations, and standards
  • Perform design verification and optimization
  • Oversee cost calculations
  • Focus on CAPEX optimization and cost savings through engineering
