Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Operations, or Software Engineering
- Strong hands-on Python skills
- Experience leading teams on cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred: ECS, EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda)
- Experience with workflow orchestration (Apache Airflow)
- Experience with containerization (Docker)
- Experience with version control (git)
- Deep understanding of AI principles
- Excellent English communication skills
- Passion for people leadership and innovation
Tasks
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Data and AI Engineers
- Set clear goals and conduct effective 1:1 meetings
- Provide technical leadership and guidance
- Review code and shape architecture decisions
- Ensure high engineering standards across the team
- Drive end-to-end delivery of advanced Data and AI solutions
- Coordinate priorities, timelines, and resources within the team
- Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure for AI services
- Oversee performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of AI systems
- Identify and prioritize automation opportunities with stakeholders
- Guide the team in implementing workflow streamlining solutions
- Act as the primary point of contact for product, data, and business leaders
- Align team focus on high-impact work
- Champion modern AI and automation practices
- Create space for experimentation and learning
