Tasks
- Shape the technical future of the platform
- Lead architectural transformation of a mission-critical platform
- Report to the Head of Engineering in Budapest
- Define and champion a long-term architectural vision
- Serve as the COO’s senior technical advisor
- Provide due diligence, risk assessments, and build-vs-buy guidance
- Drive architectural alignment across distributed teams
- Establish pragmatic platform governance
- Create ‘Golden Paths’ to accelerate delivery
- Lead innovation efforts including R&D and PoCs
- Guide the evolution of a cloud-native, secure, scalable platform
- Modernize legacy monolith components into modular APIs
- Act as the technical lead for high-stakes tenders
- Partner with Product for clear ownership and modular design
- Ensure data-driven architectural improvements
- Embed architects into Scrum teams
- Ensure reusable components and consistent APIs
- Gather continuous feedback from production telemetry
- Manage and mentor a small team of architects
- Balance operational load with strategic investments
