In this role, you will lead a dynamic accounting team, ensuring smooth operations through accurate financial reporting and compliance. Your responsibilities will include overseeing accounting processes, coaching team members, and collaborating with various departments to drive improvements.

Requirements

• •Completed commercial education or business-related Bachelor’s degree
• •6+ years of relevant experience
• •Strong knowledge of accounting standards (HGB, UGB) and VAT regulations
• •NetSuite (Oracle) knowledge and first leadership experience
• •Confident Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• •Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• •Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• •Hands-on mentality
• •Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• •Excellent communication skills
• •Strong drive to learn and adapt
• •Collaborative team spirit

Tasks

• •Lead the Accounting department with three team members
• •Oversee day-to-day accounting operations
• •Ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual financial closings
• •Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements
• •Act as point of contact for auditors
• •Coordinate and prepare tax returns for domestic and foreign companies
• •Assess tax issues in consultation with tax advisors
• •Handle reporting requests from stakeholders
• •Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes
• •Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team
• •Collaborate closely with Controlling and other departments
