- Foster a safe, secure, and stimulating learning environment
- Incorporate varied instructional models and assessment methods
- Lead development of inquiry-based and conceptually driven curriculum units
- Value and utilize diverse cultures and perspectives
- Ensure all students feel represented and included
- Motivate students to be actively engaged in learning
- Develop students' interest in human societies and environments
- Promote student well-being and academic growth
- Teach effectively across diverse motivations and abilities
- Plan collaboratively across disciplines
