Tasks
- Provide security expertise to the SSC and authority teams
- Perform access control functions according to SOPs
- Inspect vehicles and equipment entering secure sites
- Provide escort functions as directed by the SSC
- Conduct periodic security inspections for CSP compliance
- Draft written incident reports
- Draft CST documentation
- Observe CCTV to ensure site security
- Understand ICD 705 construction aspects and decisions
- Apply applicable guidance and regulations to ensure contract performance
- Apply knowledge of construction divisions and security standards to mitigate threats
- Utilize technical surveillance techniques and procedures
- Understand foreign intelligence operations and counter-intelligence devices
- Understand area threats
- Provide expertise on construction alternatives
- Apply US government security policies and standards
- Understand access control design and setup
- Apply inspection techniques and methodologies
- Manage secure logistics of materials
- Conduct technical surveillance of personnel
- Inspect completed work
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Understand MEP installation
- Understand telecommunications installation
- Understand foundations, concrete, structural steel, and finishing work
- Apply TEMPEST construction principles
- Recommend countermeasures to SAO and CTTA
- Draft Construction Site Security plans
- Draft Accreditation Support plans

- Conduct project design reviews
- Conduct sound testing for STC rated structures
- Observe EU manufacturing procedures (e.g., rebar, HVAC)
- Escort and transport materials from EU manufacturers
- Operate X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Provide health and safety documentation and certifications
- Apply technical surveillance countermeasures and intelligence techniques
- Understand telecommunication system vulnerabilities to clandestine devices
- Assess construction terminology, procedures, and practices
- Assess industrial or government security requirements
- Assess static security techniques and procedures
- Apply construction security surveillance techniques
- Perform vehicle and personnel search techniques
- Assess security practices for various security levels
- Produce written reports and document activities or incidents
