- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- At least 5 years of experience as Tax Specialist
- Focus on German tax regulations
- Experience in finance with tax focus
- In-depth knowledge of German tax laws
- Knowledge of VAT, corporate income tax, individual income tax
- Knowledge of tax laws in UK, France, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, Australia, New Zealand or India
- Advantageous knowledge of other jurisdictions' tax laws

- Profound knowledge of Excel

- Excellent communication skills in German

Tasks
- Prepare and submit tax returns with external advisors
- Prepare tax reconciliations and calculate deferred taxes
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations
- Implement tax compliance tools
- Monitor ongoing tax compliance
- Engage with local representatives
- Research tax laws of new jurisdictions
- Provide guidance on tax-efficient structures
- Optimize financial positions through tax strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Address tax-related matters
- Ensure alignment with business goals
- Provide guidance and mentorship to subsidiaries
- Serve as contact for auditors and tax advisors
