Requirements
- Extensive V&V experience for avionics or electronic warfare systems development
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with hands-on proficiency
- Understanding of behavioral and functional modeling for early validation
- Experience with test environment and tools development for V&V automation
- Degree in aerospace, electrical, physics, computer science, or other engineering discipline
- Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills
- Teamwork skills and ability to coordinate/guide teams
Tasks
- Model integrated systems
- Support overall system and software V&V strategy
- Support V&V process and tool chain definition
- Execute V&V activities to aerospace standards
- Collaborate with AI team on software qualification requirements
- Create simulation models of systems and units
- Integrate models into HiL and SiL labs/rigs
- Develop high-fidelity plant models and virtual prototypes using MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys SCADE, or C++
- Develop in-house tools for test procedure creation and execution
- Integrate tools with natural language and MBSE requirements base
- Integrate tools into complex test environment
- Automate generation of test results
- Negotiate system qualification requirements and MoC with customers
- Derive high-level software performance requirements
- Validate high-level software performance requirements with software leads
- Improve traceability of system qualification requirements in software artifacts
- Develop V&V product strategy for system/software qualification
- Collaborate with project manager on V&V planning
- Monitor technical progress of V&V activities
- Prepare V&V documents for compliance and certification
- Support final software qualification with customers and authorities
- Collaborate with QA team on V&V quality standards
- Address issues promptly to maintain project integrity
- Provide regular V&V status updates to Chief Engineering and Program Management
