Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Medical Engineering, or Systems Engineering
- Strong affinity for describing complex systems and system behavior using structured methodologies
- Solid knowledge of systems engineering, including requirements engineering, system architecture modeling, reliability, and safety engineering
- Experience with MBSE, including SysML/UML and their application in systems engineering
- Hands-on experience with modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect or Cameo Systems Modeler
- Excellent communication skills to align and moderate across cross-functional and international engineering teams
- Awareness of regulatory requirements in the medical device development environment
- Solid German and English skills, written and spoken
Tasks
- Apply systems engineering methodologies in development projects
- Create and maintain cross-disciplinary development artifacts
- Govern requirements, design decisions, use cases, and safety risk assessments
- Drive the systems engineering workflow across teams and stakeholders
- Create and maintain system models with configuration management
- Ensure data integrity and manage access permissions
- Provide tailored system model views for different stakeholders
- Support team members in data entry and retrieval from the system model
- Take ownership of design documents in line with design control processes
