Description

In this role, you will collaborate with global teams to design and develop integrated mechatronic systems for automotive applications, ensuring compliance with standards while defining requirements and testing strategies.

Requirements

• •Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields
• •Relevant experience of ideally 2-3 years in a similar position
• •Proficiency in reading technical drawings and ability to create, interpret schematics and diagrams
• •Ability to navigate in CAD systems and understand FEA and CFD results
• •Practical experience in mechanical and hydraulic systems
• •Solid experience in common development tools (e.g. Matlab, Simulink)
• •Familiarity with tools which manage requirements (e.g. Doors, Helix) is a plus
• •Solid understanding of physical principles
• •Excellent team player with a proactive, hands-on attitude, strong communication and problem-solving skills
• •Proficiency in English (both spoken and written), while proficiency in German is highly preferred

Tasks

• •Develop mechatronic systems according to the V-Model
• •Ensure compliance with automotive standards
• •Understand multi-disciplinary system requirements
• •Define sub-systems and interfaces
• •Coordinate with global expert teams
• •Design systems and architectures based on customer requirements
• •Support internal development activities
• •Define testing strategy and scope
• •Support testing and validation at system and integration levels
• •Collaborate with customers and inter-company development teams
