Systems Development Engineer - Industrial Connectivity & Compliance(m/w/x)
Developing and integrating communication/radio components for industrial connectivity. EMC-compliant design and radio/regulatory approvals experience required. Performance bonus, health incentives, stock purchase program.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field
- Experience in system or product development in industrial environments
- Knowledge of industrial communication/RTU protocols
- Practical experience in EMC-compliant design, pre-compliance testing, and layout guidelines
- Experience with radio/regulatory approvals (e.g., RED/CE/FCC)
- Programming or scripting skills for test automation or embedded-near applications
- Proficient in Windows Server configuration and maintenance (ideally certified)
- Experience in test planning, type testing, and production introduction (DFM/DFT)
- Ability for structured analysis and precise technical documentation
- High initiative, quality awareness, and strong communication and teamwork skills
Tasks
- Develop and integrate communication and radio components
- Design system architectures and technical project management
- Analyze system requirements and create system concepts
- Integrate and configure communication and radio components
- Select, parameterize, and test industrial protocols
- Design circuits considering EMV, radio, and safety requirements
- Supervise PCB layouts and collaborate with layout resources
- Prepare, define, and accompany verification, validation, and type tests
- Support certifications (RED/CE/FCC) including pre-tests and lab coordination
- Create technical documentation (tests, production, specifications)
- Conduct failure analyses and implement corrective actions
- Configure and maintain Windows-based server and visualization systems
