Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Signal Processing, Communication Engineering, or Physics
- Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of radar interference mechanisms in FMCW and PMCW systems
- Advanced skills in digital signal processing, non-stationary signal analysis, and statistical filtering
- Expert proficiency in MATLAB/Python for algorithm modeling and large-scale data analysis
- Proven ability to translate complex physical phenomena into mathematical models and software requirements
Tasks
- Design advanced interference mitigation techniques
- Simulate and implement signal reconstruction
- Apply spatial filtering and frequency hopping
- Conduct adaptive thresholding for robust detection
- Lead investigations into project warning flags
- Identify specific interference patterns and causes
- Evaluate Valeo’s interference robustness against competitors
- Define technical roadmap for best-in-class RFQs
- Provide rapid solutions for interference issues
- Support vehicle testing and customer validation
- Create Valeo internal standards for interference testing
- Contribute to the company’s patent portfolio
- Define test scenarios for crowded radar environments
- Set KPIs for HIL and vehicle-level testing
