Requirements
- Master of engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Railways engineering
- Global understanding of internal processes
- Business English and German fluent
- Ability to switch between problem and solution perspectives
- Good communication skills and team spirit
- Readiness to travel
Tasks
- Allocate transverse requirements to subsystems in collaboration with specialists
- Develop requirements based on reference documents, standards, and customer needs
- Define the Train System architecture, operational modes, and functionalities
- Conduct train system FMECA with the RAMS team
- Ensure consistency and compatibility among all subsystem specifications
- Write subsystem specifications and architecture descriptions in collaboration with SSE/PU/TCE
- Fill the 'Entry' connector to query the TSS catalog
- Write Technical Purchasing Specifications (TPS0) for non-catalog components when needed
- Draft TPS1 for supplier consultation and manage technical contacts until design freeze
- Manage technical relationships with suppliers, focusing on QCD commitments and risks
- Support TPM in defining applicable train configurations
- Coordinate between TSS/PU/Metier on interfaces and technical issue resolution during design
- Participate in technical meetings with customers to provide support as requested by TPM
- Define and execute the Train verification strategy with Engineering metiers and TSS Team
- Write train level test specifications
- Ensure train integration and tuning
- Report project-level progress to TPM and metier-level updates via weekly reports
- Support TSE in implementing and updating the Engineering risks mitigation plan
- Provide feedback for implementation in Reference Solutions
